The Concourse

MENU

Join teacher and author of The Dressmaker, Rosalie Ham, as she discusses her new novel about love, justice and irrigation. As part of the Sydney Writers Festival, Rosalie visits the Chatswood Library, The Concourse for a free talk.

A darkly satirical tale about the residents of a small country town battling with the elements and one another, The Year of the Farmer is Rosalie at her best – unsentimental and wildly entertaining. This striking story is set in country NSW and told by an author with a keen understanding of life on the land.

Lindfield Bookshop will provide copies of the author’s book for sale on the day. Free tickets, but bookings essential.
