Hummingsong Choirs’ Annual Concerts ‘Sing Out’ will feature 12 choirs with over 700 performers from Sydney and the Central Coast. Combined with musicians from The Hummingsong Friends Jazz Trio and String Sextet for two beautiful shows, they will offer a treasure trove of uplifting contemporary, jazz and folk songs featuring colourful arrangements from across the globe.
You can expect to hear anything from the magnificent classical choral sounds of "Benedicamus Domino" to Bob Dylan's soulful ballad "The Times They Are A Changin'". Come and hear the classic pop song "September" sung as you've never heard it before, and get your toes tapping to songs that will uplift and inspire you.
Founder and Artistic Director, Anna Humberstone, has created a network of 16 Hummingsong Choirs who sing, laugh and grow together. Hummingsong is committed to raising awareness and support for services that support women and children escaping domestic violence, raising over $360,000 predominantly through their highly regarded fundraising raffles which run concurrently with their annual concerts.
