In their 6th Annual Charity concert, Voces Caelestium will present a program of exciting vocal, orchestral and choral music featuring young musicians from around Sydney together with operatic soloists of international renown, directed by emerging talent TaeSoo Kim. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to support the life-saving work of MSF Australia (Doctors Without Borders).

The first half will present an Opera Gala program of overtures, arias and duets by beloved composers such as Puccini, Verdi, and Bizet, featuring Yonghoon Lee, Simon Kim, Sung Sun Hong, Hyeseoung Mariana Hong and Margaret Trubiano as soloists. The second half will present two new vocal compositions by emerging Australian composers before concluding with Bruckner’s magnificent setting of the Te Deum hymn, which will also include soloist Nara Lee.

Founded by TaeSoo Kim in 2014, over the past five years Voces Caelestium has raised over $30,000 for organisations including Compassion Australia, Oxfam Australia, International Justice Mission Australia, and MSF Australia (Doctors Without Borders). Come along on the 26th of February to see young musicians, composers and professional artists come together to create an uplifting evening of high quality music in support of a worthy cause.
